REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – FIRE DISTRICT AUDIT
The Patchogue Fire District is requesting proposals from qualified independent certified public accountants or independent public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. It is the District’s responsibility, and not that of the auditor, to prepare all required components of the financial statements to be audited. The audit is to be conducted in accordance with U.S. generally accepted auditing standards and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.

Statements of interest are due by March 18, 2026 and Proposals must be postmarked or received no later than April 1, 2026.
